Sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) was renowned in the ancient ages for stability of its healthy oil, accessibility extraction, and drought resilience. Consequently, to produce novel varieties, present work entails utilization basic metrics variability genetic variation. The investigation included 60 sesame genotypes 13 quantitative characteristics. analysis variance revealed that were significant all parameters assessed (P>0.05 P>0.01). average seed yield per plant 6.93g, ranging from 4.84 9.17g. In traits studied, phenotypic coefficient variation (PCV) greater than genotypic (GCV). tense relationship between PCV GCV values indicated environment had minimal impact on expression under investigation. no. branches, capsules/axil, capsules plant, seeds capsule, oil content suggested higher estimations GCV. heritability varied 75.13% width 99.03% capsules/axil. advance (GA) percent means 7.71 (seed length) 110.93 (no. capsules/axil) at 5% selection intensity. height, 1000 weight, capsule length, thickness, content, showed substantial heredity a high GA% mean. Because this, additive control direct have potential increasing yield.
